Questions Worth Asking Before You Build
A louvered pergola features adjustable aluminum slats that allow you to control sunlight, airflow, and shade throughout the day with a simple mechanism. A solid-roof structure provides full overhead enclosure with architectural glass panels, offering complete weather protection and a year-round outdoor room. Your choice depends on how much climate control and enclosure you want from your space.
Most of our pergola and pavilion structures are engineered to anchor into concrete footings, existing deck boards, or paved surfaces, depending on the model and its footing system. We recommend reviewing the installation documentation included with each product and consulting a licensed contractor familiar with local building codes and load requirements. Our team is also available to help guide you through pre-installation planning.
Louvered aluminum pergolas are constructed with powder-coated aluminum framing designed to resist corrosion, UV degradation, and moisture over time. When louvers are fully closed, they channel rainwater through integrated guttering systems built into the frame, keeping the space underneath dry. For added enclosure and wind protection, models featuring zip-track screen panels and privacy panels provide a significantly more sheltered environment.
Pergola and pavilion structures ship with free shipping on most orders within the Continental U.S., though orders to Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from this policy. Deliveries of this scale are handled through freight carriers, and our team coordinates scheduling to ensure safe arrival. Should your order not meet your expectations, our 30-Day Returns policy applies — please refer to our Return Policy page for full details on the process.
